The Coseley Brassfoundry, White Street, Coseley, Staffordshire. Established 1919. 'Manufacturers of novelty and antique ornamental brassware and casters to the engineering trades'. William John Gough registered designs for cast trivets in 1931. This mark was found on a nutcracker in a four-piece companion set for nuts and wine service.
Under a cast brass plaque in the form of a winged helmet is found this Coseley Foundry 'CF' mark together with 'England'.
