Birmingham Brass Company was the name of a factory producing brassware in Shelton Borough, Naugatuck Valley, Connecticut. The area is now named 'Derby'. It would be interesting to know if they had any original connection with Birmingham, home of the British brass industry in England. A winder from an oil lamp. It carries the name and a March 1885 patent in raised lettering.
Another winder has the lettering stamped onto a flat disc.
